S.A. Man's Wedding In London Color Film
A color film of Mr. Rex Brennan's wedding in London tomorrow with Miss Barbara Tabb will be sent to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Brennan, Siam station, Port Augusta.
They will be married in the Queen's Chapel of the Savoy. The bride's Mother, Mrs. P. Hedlam, will entertain many South Australians among her guests at the Savoy Hotel afterwards.
The film will show the bride's white taffeta lace frock with the floral pattern picked out with silver thread, her tiny tulle veil and the bridegroom's gift, a diamond brooch.
Bridesmaids Misses Mary Bell, Shirley Haswell and Jacqueline Mylls [sic] will wear full skirted white organza frocks and shaded yellow flowers on their hair and in their bouquets.
Mr. Ian Shannon, from Illawarra, Bagot Well, will be best man.
The honeymoon will be spent on the Continent.
Guests of interest to South Australia will include Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Jackman, Brig, and Mrs. A. K. Wendt, their daughter Mrs. Philip Tomkinson with her husband, Misses Helen Matheson, Ann Parker and Janet Stoddart, Captain the Viscount Althorp, a former ADC in Adelaide and now temporary Equerry to Queen Elizabeth.
